Tour guide in Lisbon
I am Attila Szőnyi, I have been a tour guide since 2007 and leading tours from Greenland to Tibet, but in the recent period, my base has become Lisbon. I graduated as a regional and urban development geographer, and I have published eight independent travel guides. I am also a co-author of several articles and books related to travel. When I am not exploring the world, I enjoy showcasing the landmarks of the city and making Portuguese daily life more understandable.

See you in Portugal!
Private walking tours
For couples, families, and groups of friends, I offer 2-8 hour guided walking city tours. I am also happy to assist in planning and tailor the experience to individual preferences.
Food tours
Small-group, few-hour tasting walks where we explore the fundamentals of Portuguese gastronomy. Upon request, I also organize vegetarian or higher-tier culinary programs.
Fado tours
The unique expression of Portuguese lifestyle and culture is embodied in Fado music. A brief stroll through the iconic Fado locations, followed by a dinner combined with a Fado performance.
Free walking tours
I lead tip-based tours at scheduled times in Lisbon and Belém. You can find the schedule on the platforms below.
Off the beaten track
If you wish to explore the city more thoroughly and are interested in more than just the main attractions, I'm happy to assist in discovering hidden gems.
Beyond the city
I also offer guided tours in Greater Lisbon: Sintra, Cascais, Estoril, Setúbal, Costa da Caparica, and other nearby locations.
Guided tours for groups
I provide Hungarian and English language guided tours for groups in Lisbon, as well as accompany tours throughout the entire territory of Portugal.
